About the Hilton Center for the Arts :
This is the new exciting planned design for the Hilton Center for the Arts in Rensselaer. The converted 19th century old mill, just 2 minutes from I90 is situated on the shores of the picturesque Hudson River shoreline with grand views of Albany,s beautiful downtown skyline.
The 19th century building located in Rensselaer, NY, and once owned by the Barnet family, was a shodding mill for the reclamation of woolen products. Today the beautiful red brick, concrete and steel facility with seven glass atriums is being transformed into a one of a kind Art Center. All of the structure,s industrial concrete columns, capitals and ceiling pans that line the interior of the buildings are being cleaned and restored. The complex's rich history is being maintained throughout this transformation as we continue to add more artists.
