Beliefs

The Bible is the inspired Word of God without error or contradiction, and that the Scripture is God's authoritative Word for today. (2 Timothy 3:16)

God is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)

Man was created by God a perfect being with body and soul, but fell into sin and separated himself from God.  As a result, his sin needed to be paid for so that he might be forgiven and restored to God.

Jesus Christ, God "in the flesh" (John 1:14), came to this earth, was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life for us, took the punishment for our sins upon himself when He died on the cross, and rose again bodily. Through this sacrificial gift of His life He paid for our sins, made peace with God, and gives eternal life to all who believe in Him as their personal Savior.

This Salvation is a free "gift of God" (Romans 6:23) which cannot be earned by trusting in the good things we have done, but rather by trusting in what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross.  The question, "What must I do to be saved?" is answered clearly, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved."  (Acts 16:31)

This Saving Faith is created and sustained by the Holy Spirit, who lives in our hearts.  He works through the Means of Grace...the Word of God, Baptism, and the Lord's Supper.

The Power Of The Holy Spirit enables us to live victorious lives with His fruits and gifts for the glory of the Lord Jesus.

The Second Coming Of Jesus, accompanied by the resurrection of the dead and the final judgment, may be anticipated with joy and confidence, by His forgiven people.

The Mission Of The Church is to "Make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19) that all "might have life, and have it abundantly" (John 10:10) as they trust in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
