Mission Statement:

The mission of the Huntsville School District is to provide the most efficient and effective learning opportunities for all students within the District. Learning opportunities will focus on improving student achievement, academic and character growth, and the development of continuous learning skills in a rapidly changing world.

School District Goals:

• Align the curriculum K-12.
• Develop a building and a district technology plan, with all services and procedures spelled out.
• Provide appropriate staff development to all staff members in a changing role.
• Put in whatever efforts it may take to hire the best person for every position available.
• Create an alternative learning program.
• Develop an overall transportation program.
• Develop a maintenance/custodial program that will produce an attractive, clean, safe environment for the entire staff and student body of the Huntsville School District.
• Improve overall school communications to the community.
• Pursue alternative sources of funding for the Huntsville School District.
• Develop emergency procedures and crisis management plans for the entire school district.
• Implement long-range plans and building programs that will accommodate student growth.
• Operate the school district in a financially stable manner.
