Our History:

For years, Indian River Baptist Church was only a dream...a dream of a church that would up-hold the standards of unworldly conservative worship, unapologetic Bible-preaching and unwavering compassion in the preaching of the gospel to the lost. That dream became a reality when in 2001 a small group of believers met in a home in the Florida Shores to form the Indian River Baptist Church.

Immediately services were held and a called-out group of believers found the church to be true to the biblical values it was established to represent.  The church grew and the Lord eventually led in the purchasing of its current location on US1.

Since 2008 the church has seen tremendous growth.  In 2009 alone 150 people visited the church, 16 families joined the church and the people of Indian River saw nearly 30 souls come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. With that the formation of many helpful ministries were developed in being a help to the churches' membership.

2010 holds the prayers and vision of our people.  We are seeking to "Attempt great things for God: expect great things from God."  If you are looking for an exciting church that loves the Lord, honors the Word of God and loves people, you should find Indian River Baptist Church to be God's key for a wonderful future in your life!
