The Interfaith Social Action Committee is composed of representatives from Pleasantville’s Episcopal, Jewish, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, and Roman Catholic congregations. The committee meets monthly and has previously delivered sports equipment and clothing to poor children of Poughkeepsie, collected funds and clothing for the victims of last May 24th’s fire, and twice published a S.A.F.E. (Substance/Alcohol Free Environments) Homes family directory. The committee is open to your suggestions for new projects.
