About Us :

Gary D. Jewel Middle School is a 6th, 7th and 8th grade school that was built on 1998. It has a population of about 800+ students. There are now four middle schools in West Aurora District #129 with a total about 10,000 students. The student population at Jewel Middle School is about 56% Caucasian, 20% African-American, 20% Hispanic and 4% Asian. About 95% of our students qualify for bussing to and from school.
