About Us:

The Jones Farm CSA program offers more than simply a chance to support a local farm. It is partnering with customers to improve the soil to get the healthiest, best tasting, most nutritious produce around. We use all natural organic methods to grow all of our vegetables. Using high density nutritional methods raises the brix level (see below) resulting in optimum plant performance. In other words, we are building healthier living soil to provide you with much better vegetables. Increasing the brix level is a process that improves the soil each season. We offer over 100 varieties of common and heirloom vegetables and a large selection of herbs and flowers.

Jones Farm is a 12+ acre vegetable farm established Phil and Deb Jones who have owned and operated it since 1989. It is located in Chelmsford Mass. in the fertile Merrimack valley. The farm is offering a full season vegetable CSA with exception variety and freshness for 2011. This will be the farms second season providing delicious veggies to a hundred and fifty plus local families. Jones Farm is currently working with the Real Food Campaign, the Bionutrient Food Association, and Dan Kittredge to create mineral balance in our fields along with the management of complex soil microbiology. We in turn hope to achieve considerably more nutritious crops and with diagnostic tools be able to gather data to contribute to on going research in bionutrient fields and practices.
