About Joyce Daze Wild Blackberry Festival
As the name suggests, wild blackberries are the main reason for the festival. The chance to try our wild blackberries in a freshly baked homemade pie attracts people from miles around. The festival begins with a pancake breakfast held at the Grange Hall, followed by a crafts fair and parade, and ends with a raffle. The day's events also include games for the kids, a salmon bake and entertainment. Proceeds from the event have provided scholarships for graduating Crescent High School seniors and equipment to the community rescue squad.
