Mission:

The Junior League of Fort Smith, Inc is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

The Junior League of Fort Smith reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who exemplify a commitment to volunteerism and desire to improve the community around them.

Vision:

The Junior League of Fort Smith strives to improve the River Valley (or Greater Fort Smith Region) by actively participating in community service projects that enhance the lives of women, children, and other non-profit organizations in our region.

Focus:

The current focus area of the Junior League of Fort Smith is promoting education and educational opportunities that foster healthy growth and lifestyles in the River Valley.



About Us:

Our League accomplishes its mission through the efforts of our membership which numbers over 400 women strong. The women of our organization share diverse interests and backgrounds, but find common ground in the desire to improve our community through volunteer action. Our members include women that work full-time, part-time, and in the home. We have single women, married women, mothers and grandmothers active in our League.
