The Katonah Poetry Series was founded in 1967. It's mission is to present four readings per year given by nationally celebrated poets in an intimate setting, as well as to foster conversation between writers and readers. Each reading is approximately 45 minutes long and is followed by a Q&A and book signing/reception. The series has presented more than 125 readings by highly acclaimed poets, including eight Poets Laureate of the United States and fifteen winners of the Pulitzer Prize.
