About Us:
The Kiwanis Club of Jackson is a service club, made up of approximately 80 members--young and old, retired and working, men and women. We share the same passion for volunteering our time and talents to strengthen our community, one child and one project at a time.
We donate shoes, boots and dictionaries to local children, read to them, ring the bell for the Salvation Army, sponsor a Key Club and and Aktion Club, serve lunches at a local shelter, throw a Halloween party and so much more. We raise money through a variety of fund raisers, including displaying 1,000 flags in our neighborhoods, showing travel and adventure films and playing golf in January.
We also have a foundation, made up of members, that receives and administers funds for charitable purposes.
Our club meets weekly on Fridays at noon for lunch at the Cascades Manor House, 1970 Kibby Road in Jackson.
