Knapp Elementary School is nestled in a beautiful setting in the hills just west of the city of Menomonie. The school overlooks a man-made lighted pond around which the village park is built. The location of the village of Knapp lies in a valley just off Highway 12. It is a beautiful setting!

Our school has served the students in this area for more than 125 years! Each day our teachers welcome their class to a building that houses one section each of kindergarten through fifth grade. We have an active PTO that supports our students and staff, providing many educational field trips and fun activities. Each year, high school seniors who have attended Knapp Elementary School are eligible to apply for the Heian Scholarship to help with future educational plans.
