The La Habra Area Chamber of Commerce began holding the La Habra Citrus Fair in 2010 to provide local entertainment and education about the history of La Habra, as well as to raise money for local non-profits. The Fair normally attracts 30,000 to 40,000 attendees over the weekend.

The Youth Expo and Livestock show when schools compete with livestock, horticulture and art programs.  Our students are responsible for their animals purchasing, raising and competing for top honors during the Citrus Fair. Winners will go on to compete at the Orange County Fair agriculture competition during the summer," said Phil Pacia, Agriculture Department head. "We look forward to joining the Citrus Fair and sharing what we love."

"We are excited about these additions to the 2016 Citrus Fair. Educating of our youth is critical to the success of our community. We hope to stimulate the curiosity and imagination of our La Habra youth and provide another pathway to learning," said Mark Sturdevant, Fair Director and President of the La Habra Chamber.

This year our new addition is Off the Grid, Preparedness Expo that includes emergency merchandise, information programs, how-to demonstrations, public safety and more.

The La Habra Historical Museum will have the history of La Habra education on display during the fair.   Proceeds from this year's Citrus Fair benefit several local non-profits including the High School programs.
