The La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club - the most dynamic Rotary Club in the world! Our club was chartered in June, 1986. We now have over 120 members. We hope you will find this information helpful and that it will give you a picture of what we do and who we are.

Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 32,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas. As one of those 32,000 clubs, we strive to make a dent in the world by our caring and our multiple projects, both locally and abroad.

We know that people all over the world want to respond to their challenges with strength and vigor. Rotarians like to assist those who stand right next to them and invest their own time and hard work. When you look at the projects of our Community Service, Vocational Service, and International Service Committees, you can see the solid outcomes of our combined efforts.

Rotary is a particularly caring source of volunteer strength in the world, using talent and dedication wisely. It puts hope in our hearts and makes for a richer life for all concerned. We enjoy fellowship -- especially with each other - and with our guests, and the people we meet through our projects around the world.
