The Mission of La Villa ISD, in collaboration with the home and community, is to develop the cognitive, personal/social/emotional and physical aspects of all learners through a comprehensive educational program which prepares community and society.
Vision
At La Villa ISD , we envision a drug-free community where parents are the first teachers. Their early and continuous involvement prepares the learner for school. At school, learners are actively involved in solving complex problems using critical thinking and the latest technology. They are learning in an environment that is exciting and challenging. Teachers are facilitation research at work centers through cooperative learning and learning activities. Learners are creating, designing, and presenting all types of projects. Distance learning and learning via the Internet can be observed. All students are functioning at or above grade level. Staff development is an on-going process. Engagement in all these activities empowers students, staff and parents to build a community of learners.
