Without a doubt, the biggest and most celebrated holiday on Maui is Halloween. Each year, Lahaina Town is the host of one of the largest Halloween parties in Hawaii, often dubbed the "Mardi Gras of the Pacific". Front Street closes off all streets to traffic, allowing costumed visitors and residents the chance to walk freely down the street and enjoy the many events held throughout the evening.
