Lakeside Temple of Practical Christianity is based on the teachings of applied Christian metaphysics. In other words we study the teachings of Jesus Christ and then we apply these lessons in our daily living experiences. Jesus Christ is the Head of Lakeside Temple.

God is love. Through prayer and meditation, we come to realize how to live more freely, fully, and peacefully. We understand we are intended to be happy and prosperous on this spiritual journey of living on the earth. We may make mistakes, yet as we know better, we do better. Jesus proved for us that Life is good and Life never ends.

We teach individual responsibility for our own spiritual growth. We offer classes and literature which help guide and direct us in our pursuit of spiritual understanding.

We believe our own thoughts help to shape and form our outer circumstances. As Jesus said, "Whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, so shall it be." "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he."
