Goals:
The goals of the Licking R-VIII School District are as follows:To provide free, appropriate, and equal educational opportunities for children and to assist the individual in participating in these learning experiences.
To develop in students a sense of responsibility in the use of intelligence, communication, and the practice of good judgment and creativity in solving problems.
To impart to children a knowledge of and respect for their cultural heritage.
To provide an opportunity for students to develop a sense of moral values.
To promote an environment in which children may recognize opportunities, accept responsibility, and develop the habit of giving service, according to their abilities, to society.
To stimulate and develop an understanding of a democratic society and to employ democratic processes in day-to-day relationships with others.
