In 2003, Dr. Marie Nicolas-Cook and Rev. Dr. Eric Cook opended the the Lighthouse Resource Center, Inc to provide training to low income, unemployed and welfare recipients interested in entering the constantly expanding medical field. LHRC believes that by providing a curriculum designed and updated by industry specialists, taught by qualified instructors with professional experience in the field, and managed by caring administrators, Lighthouse graduates can develop the skills and knowledge they need to start successful careers in the allied health field.
