School Culture/Climate

• We will maintain an atmosphere of high expectations where students are respected and encouraged to prepare them for their future endeavors.
• Students are succeeding, respecting and feeling proud of themselves, their peers and their differences. They look forward to coming everyday to work with their "school family" in state of the art classrooms in a respectful and value adhered climate.

Community Involvement

• Lincoln will work closely with parents and the community to develop quality resources and programs for students that actively engage them in real world applications.
• We will encourage parents to take an active part in their child's education through involvement in projects, assemblies and classes.

Curriculum

• Lincoln Middle School's curriculum allows our diverse student population to safely take risks in the classroom in the journey toward becoming productive members of the global community.
• We will adapt and modify curriculum for students to challenge them as well as serve their needs.
• We will adopt and engage students with updated material in the classrooms.
• We will broaden electives available to all students to include foreign language, simulation labs and computer classes.
• We will use available technology effectively in all learning environments and continue to expand our technological resources.

Assessment

• We will use a variety of tools to assess student achievement to measure student growth and developmental needs.
• Assessment of measurable goals will be utilized to determine achievement and the students preparedness for future success.
• We will encourage all staff to continue professional and personal development enabling us to meet the needs of a diverse population.
• The school and district will provide opportunities for professional growth.
