Mission and Vision

The mission of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce is to promote a positive business climate in the state of Maine, by focusing on Advocacy, Access, and Leadership.

Our vision is to empower the state's business community to collaboratively advance a proactive agenda for economic growth and prosperity in Maine.

As determined by our Board of Directors, the Maine State Chamber of Commerce focus its legislative efforts in 2010 on taxation, energy, and health care.  In addition, we will be involved in discussion regarding education, economic development, labor issues, workers' compensation, insurance, environmental legislation, and business regulation, to name a few.
