Mission
In accordance with the guidelines of the Comer process, the staff at Margaret Brent School will prepare all students to function independently and productively at home, work, school and in the community. We have high expectations for each student maximizing time on task while engaging students in domestic living, community functioning, recreational /leisure activities and vocational training including activities in multicultural education. We believe that parent involvement is key to each child's success in school; therefore, we will develop activities that will foster strong parent involvement

To further the success of our students, instruction will be provided in academic areas using state and county approved curriculum materials. The educational program will allow interactions with non-disabled peers. Partnerships will be established to strengthen the relationship between home, school and the surrounding community.
