The purpose of the Marine Corps League is to preserve the traditions and to promote the interests of the United States Marine Corps, be a source of information for veterans, raise money for veterans in need through various fund raisers.

The MCL Northwest Detachment 162 meets once a month on the 3rd Monday of each month in the Lower Level of the VFW Post 4012 located at 438 South Main Street in Northville (just North of 7 Mile Road). All active, reserve, and former Marines are welcome to attend.

The Marine Corps League is a charitable organization supporting veterans and their causes. The primary fundraiser for the Detachment is community Steak Dinners from March through October of each year.
