History
Pittsburg Unified School District's Child Development Program has been in existence at Martin Luther King School since 1964. The program is regulated by the Office of Child Development, State Department of Education and administered by the P.U.S.D.
The center currently serves 144 children, ages 3.5 to 4 years, in three morning and three afternoon State Preschool classes along with 150 children, ages 27 months to 4 years old, in our full-day care program. Enrollment is based on income eligibility and other California State Department of Education priorities. Facility #070207115.
MLK is registering children for Fall classes, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Parents are required to bring proof of income, child's immunization records, TB Skin Test and proof of residency for the Child care. State Preschool program parents are required to bring the child's Birth Certificate in addition to all of the above to register
