The MasterWorks Chorale, a non-profit organization, is supported by the New York State Council on the Arts as part of its Decentralization Program in Onondaga County. MasterWorks Chorale (formerly the Marcellus Chorale) was founded in 1965 by Dr. Joseph Centrone, the organization's first conductor, who formed a chorus from four of the church choirs in Marcellus, New York.
