McBee Elementary School, a small school with a dedicated staff, through a partnership with parents and community, is committed to enabling our children to achieve their full potential through monitoring and adjusting the educational processes, that will foster a positive attitude toward learning and adapting to an ever changing environment.

Schools need to function as a learning community and all members must work together to carry out our mission.

Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual characteristics.

Student learning is the main focus of the school.

Students need to demonstrate their understanding of essential knowledge and skills, and also need to be actively involved in solving problems and producing quality work.

A safe, clean, and physically comfortable environment promotes student learning.

Students and parents need to take an active part in the classroom setting.

Subject areas should include different learning activities so that all students are comfortable in the classroom setting.

Students need to apply their learning in meaningful contexts.

School should provide students with the tools to be life-long learners.
