History:

The Upland’s Education Center is located on the Luther S. Wade Family homestead. The farm included a home, numerous outbuildings, and a massive barn. While those structures no longer remain, we will endeavor to preserve the heritage of the farmstead by making it available to youth and others to enjoy. In the tradition of Aldo Leopold, we want to use the past to understand the future and feel certain that the Wade family will be pleased with the current and future use of their magnificent property.
