Welcome to MCV Wines:

MCV Wines was a long time dream of mine that I expected to open at an undecided date somewhere down the road. However, this endeavour got a jump start during my 6th year of winemaking in 2011 with the discovery that some of the highest quality Petite Sirah grapes in the Paso Robles AVA were still available at nearly picking time. I eagerly jumped on the opportunity and found an equally wonderful facility, with an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, to create my wine from those grapes. I am proud to say that we are still happily working with both the same vineyard and winemaking facility.

Here at MCV, I strive to make the highest quality, small lot wines that I possibly can. I work to create unique and interesting blends with a focus on Petite Sirah. This wonderfully dark and rich grape is smooth, elegant and delicious yet bold, powerful and age-able. It has the unique ability to be made in various styles that can be used to create multiple wines from the same grapes. When drinking MCV, expect the unexpected from our unique blend choices and rare grape varietals. Look forward to seeing Tannat, Petite Verdot and Torrontes in the future.
