About Us

The Menands Fire Department is a volunteer fire department that is located in the Village of Menands.

The fire department responded to several types of calls which include structure fires, fire alarms, medical calls, brush fires, hazardous materials calls, water emergencies, vehicle fire and traffic accidents.

Currently the department is 22 firefighters and 6 fire police officers strong.
