The Mental Health Association in Talbot County empowers and encourages individuals and families in the Mid-Shore region to recognize and manage the mental health issues in their lives. The Association provides a program of public education focused on prevention, detection and management of the barriers to human growth and development, and supports efforts for early diagnosis and intervention in our community. Our primary goal is to support the entire mental health community by promoting mental wellness, encouraging improvement in the care and access to treatment of the mentally ill, and by defeating the stigma that is a barrier to mental health treatment universally.
