About
In 1956, Ralph P. Marble bought 400-acres of land on Nantucket's southern shore with the intention of raising cows for dairy production. Four years later, he began to build Miacomet Golf Club.
In 1963, Miacomet opened as a year-round course for islanders and visitors alike. The course drew a small constituency of golf devotees from the then recently closed Tupancy Links and has been serving the Nantucket community ever since.
