Our school motto is "Prepared to Learn." The students hear and see this daily. It represents a shared commitment on everyone’s part to do what is expected to help achieve success.

The Proficiency tests have a great influence on what and how we teach students. We concentrate our academic efforts developing well rounded thinkers who are well prepared for high school. All of our courses have a significant role in developing what we term "the whole child."

There are numerous extra-curricular activities offered which are a vital part of the junior high experience. There are athletic teams, support groups, peer meditation, academic clubs, Student Council, and a variety of others to meet the diverse needs of the students.
