Our Mission:
The Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center/Sanford L. Ziff Campus is dedicated to the enrichment of Jewish life and fosters the spiritual, emotional, and physical development of its individual members through all of life's stages and circumstances. The JCC represents a model of acceptance, understanding and diversity. As such, people look at the JCC as a center of excellence that epitomizes how shared Jewish values support a vibrant and evolving constituency. The JCC is a member agency of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, the United Way of Miami-Dade County and the Jewish Community Center Association of North America.

The Michael-Ann Russell JCC delivers social group work services, informal education, cultural, social, and recreational programs, emphasizing Jewish values and the importance of Israel.

As an Agency of the Jewish Community, Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center will:

- Develop an appreciation and awareness of Jewish values and enhance one's sense of Jewish identity.

- Enrich the lives of individuals by helping them in their personal growth.

- Encourage responsible citizenship and leadership involvement in both the Jewish and general community through the development of social consciousness and a sense of obligation to participate in civic affairs.

- Build and preserve Jewish heritage by encouraging individuals and groups to participate in cultural and educational experiences based on Jewish life in America, Israel, and other countries.

- Reach out to the affiliated and unaffiliated in a concerted effort to help build a strong Jewish community.

- Relate itself to all elements of the community to achieve its objective as a community agency.

- Be an arm of the organized Jewish community to help carry out programs.

- Preserve and enrich the quality of Jewish community life for individuals and families.
