Mission:
As a faithful church we will provide opportunities for growth in our witness to the grace and love of God through worship, fellowship, education, and outreach.
About Us:
Middleton Community Church has been a true community church – “a church home for those who have no home” – since its founding over 70 years ago. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and beliefs and are at different points in their spiritual journeys, yet all share a common desire to deepen their faith and find meaning and purpose in our lives.
Through our participation in a variety of ministries outside our church – such as Middleton Outreach Ministry, The Road Home Dane County, The Crossing Campus Ministry, and the CROP Walk – we seek to offer help and hope in material and spiritual ways.
In all we do – worship, fellowship, learning and outreach – we are a church community that seeks to relate the faith we proclaim with the lives we live. We seek to “Connect Faith and Life.”
We have officially declared ourselves as an “Open and Affirming” church. Within the United Church of Christ, an Open and Affirming (ONA) Church is one that has publicly declared that gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender persons are welcome into the full life and ministry of the congregation. Our status as an “Open and Affirming” church demonstrates a spirit of hospitality, and a commitment to live out that welcome in visible and meaningful ways.
