The Midwest Horse Fair® is one of the top 3-day horse fairs in America. Held in Madison, Wisconsin at the Alliant Energy Center, it has been growing and going strong since 1979. In 2008 we will celebrate the 29th annual Midwest Horse Fair®.
Every year the Midwest Horse Fair® gets bigger & better, and 2008 will be no different! The theme will be "Dancing with the Horses!" Every performance is a unique experience as exhibitors incorporate the theme into their demonstrations.
Whether you are a horseless horse lover, new horse owner, or seasoned professional, there will be something you'll enjoy at the Midwest Horse Fair®. Meet the horses up close by touring the eight different barns. Find the perfect mate for your mare in Stallion Avenue. Watch the breed demonstrations in the Coliseum. Learn about the newest horse training techniques from some of the top clinicians in the country. Attend educational seminars taught by foremost equine experts. Shop at over 500 vendor booths for anything from gifts and crafts to saddles and horse trailers. Enjoy the "mane" event, a feature presentation focusing on the horse, Friday and Saturday evenings.
The Midwest Horse Fair® is owned by the Wisconsin State Horse Council, Inc. All proceeds from the Fair are returned to the WSHC and are used to represent and foster a unified equine industry in Wisconsin, promote the equine through leadership, education, service and communication, and to take a proactive role in the future growth and development of the equine industry.
