About Us:
Mirror Lake Middle School was opened in the fall of 1997. The farthest north of all Anchorage School District facilities it has been nicknamed “The Jewel in the Woods”. A beautiful facility with a panoramic view of trees and mountains, the school is banked by windows on all sides, giving students and staff a natural setting and year round lighting.
Mirror Lake Middle school is a middle school facility that accommodates 6th,7th and 8th grade students. Each grade level is housed in a separate “pod” with students assigned to teams of two to four teachers for their core subjects. Other pod areas house elective and physical education facilities.
