Mission Statement:
The focus of our Mission Emphasis Team is to keep missions at the forefront of everything we do. Our challenge is for each person in our church to be involved in a mission experience by the end of 2006.

Vision Statement:
We are driven by a vision to become a disciple making church where we can reach out to a whole region of western Stanly County, southern Cabarrus County and beyond. To these ends we seek to provide vibrant worship services, excellent preschool, children, and youth ministries along with numerous opportunities for adults to grow in their relationship with Christ.

To achieve our purpose we seek to worship God both personally and collectively as a church. Through a solid program of Bible teaching, discipleship and small groups, we strive to assist and nurture each other in the process of Christian growth. We want to tell others about God’s plan of salvation and the exciting life that He wants for each of His followers. We attempt to reflect God’s loving and caring nature so that Christ’s ministry of compassion can be extended to all those in need.

Beliefs:
-Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
-Jesus was born by the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died for our sins on the cross, was resurrected, and sits at the right hand of God.
-We believe in the Trinity: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
-Jesus is the only way to salvation, that we are born again by the grace of -God and through our faith in Jesus Christ. we receive eternal life.
-The Bible as our authority for life and practice.
-The autonomy of the local church.
-The priesthood of believers.
