Mom's Farm
We have been growing for years for our family and friends, so we decided to sell vegetables. We are renting 1 acre in Lockport where we will be growing pesticide-free vegetables and renting 1 acre in Yorkville where we will be growing apples and pears pesticide-free. Besides the usual tomatoes and peppers, we will have over 20 different vegetables and herbs available. We are offering a total of 10 CSA shares for 2010 that will last for 20 weeks starting late May and be enough for a family of 4 and cost $600. We also have available half shares available for $300 that will last for 20 weeks and be enough for a family of 2. Besides CSA shares, we will be at the Homer Glen Farmers Market on Saturdays and the Lockport Farmers Market on Mondays.
