Myakka City United Methodist Church offers a dynamic service each Sunday morning!  

We offer a traditional worship service which includes a choir and pianist.  Some other elements you may see at our traditional service includes formal liturgical attire and many other rituals found within the UMC such as scripture readings, apostle's creed, doxology, and traditional music selections from the UM Hymnal.  All ages are welcome at the traditional service, we offer children's church for elementary age children, at the same time as the traditional service, and there is an unstaffed nursery available in the rear part of the sanctuary for parents with young children if they desire to retreat to a calm place during the service.  Our church offers Holy Communion the first Sunday of each month and we practice an "open table", which means all who profess the name of Jesus Christ are invited to partake in the sacrament.
