The Nantucket Hunting Association is a dues and donation-funded, 501c3 nonprofit corporation with a mission to preserve the traditions of ethical hunting and to maintain the balance of Nantucket's wildlife resources. Founded in 1997, the association has members residing in 7 states. Association programs include Hunter Safety Education Courses given on Nantucket.
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00pm at Brendon Hunt's shop at 16 Folger Avenue. Non-members and prospective members are welcome to attend!
The NHA is currently working on the development of the first formal shooting facility, the Nantucket Shooting Park, on Nantucket.
