East Hampton's Neighbor to Neighbor Energy Challenge is a community-based energy savings program helping East Hampton residents reduce their energy use by 20%.  

The average Connecticut home spends more than $3,5000 a year on its energy bills.  But there's good news!  Owners of energy efficient homes spend 30% less on energy costs than owners of inefficient home, leading to a savings of more than $1,000 a year!

Our goal is to make saving energy at home easy.  As you take steps to reduce your energy use at home, not only are you making your home more comfortable and less expensive to live in - but you are also earning points for your community towards valuable rewards, such as solar-powered streetlights.
