The Nordonia Hills Preschool Parents is a non-profit group that provides support for families with children ages 0-6.  We have been around since 1975 and are approaching our 36th anniversary as a an organization.  This group not only provides support and friendship for parents but also provides exciting activities and events for children.  Some of our past field trips have included the Macedonia Fire Station, Holden Arboretum, Playground World, Cold Stone Creamery, Spirit of Clay and Harry London Chocolate Factory.  One of our most recent field trips was to Schwebels Bakery in Solon.  The children and their parents received a tour of the bakery and a fresh loaf of bread to take home with them.  Our group also offers special events to members including trips to the Severance Hall, Akron Aeros Baseball Stadium, IX Indoor Amusement Park and the Akron Civic Theater.  As a member of NHPP you would receive group rate tickets for these events.  Another service offered to our members are holiday parties for the children and their families to enjoy.  We have a Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day and Easter party each year.  The parties provide games, party favors, food and great socialization for the children.  NHPP holds an annual Everything Babies and Kids Consignment Sale in the spring to serve as our groups fundraiser. This sale is open to the public and members are able to clean out their closets by selling their used baby and kids items.

Our group meets the second Monday of each month September - May at 7 pm at the Nordonia Hills YMCA.
