The Boxley Music Fund is a non-profit organization (501c3) established to support live Jazz music programs for performance and education within the Greater Snoqualmie Valley.
Our Vision is to promote the ongoing values of live Jazz music performance in the communities in which we live. How do we accomplish this?
By assisting in the promotion and funding of music performances in the community.
By providing educational opportunities for future generations of musicians to meet with and learn from professionals.
By expanding live music performances in the communities where we live.
We provide educational clinics and workshops to enhance local music programs and inspire students and support for live music venues to help cover the cost of performances and promotion. We also product a regional jazz festival and blues festival to support the community at large and draw new people to our Valley and provide funding to support the formation of student groups and performances of the next generation of jazz musicians.
The music fund receives most of its revenues through memberships. Basic members at $25 per month get access to a member only website where they can listen to music recorded live at Boxleys. Plus they also receive a commemorative monthly CD that's a compilation of different performances. Premium members at $65 receive the same benefits as basic members plus an additional $50 in coupons every month to use at Boxleys. The music fund also has 2 levels of business sponsorship for $75 and $150 per month that you can find more about on our website.
The Boxley Music Fund started in 2010 and currently has more than 150 Members & Families involved, serving more than 100 Students during the school year and providing more than 750 gigs to musicians each year.
