WE FIRST OPENED OUR DOORS IN 1899 AS A SMALL NEIGHBORHOOD PUB IN PARKERSBURG'S NORTH END.
Over the last century, the NET has grown into a restaurant and brewery that has become a Parkersburg tradition.
The current North End Tavern & Brewery owners acquired the business over 37 years ago and remain dedicated to maintaining an establishment where everyone feels welcome. The "NET," as it is known by regulars, is widely recognized for its friendly, casual atmosphere. We strive to stay faithful to our local roots and strongly support community and West Virginia organizations and businesses.
We offer our customers a varied menu including many German-American favorites, sandwiches, and the famous NET burger, which many call "the best burger in town!" We are also available to cater or host your special events.
A LITTLE HISTORY
We haven't fact-checked, but we've been featured on Thrillist as the oldest restaurant in West Virginia. Brookston Beer Bulletin lists North End Tavern & Brewery as the 122nd oldest bar in America.
