NOVAA's Mission :

NOVAA's purpose is to support and encourage the artistic endeavors of the artists in North Okanogan County. NOVAA intends to create a forum for local artists in an atmosphere of professional excellence, encourage creative growth in North Okanogan Valley’s young people, and enrich the area’s communities through education and economic growth.

The primary objectives to carry out this mission:

* To enrich our rural area with workshops in the various art disciplines, educate others in the process of creating art as well as support one another as artists to continue our own work.
* To provide a forum for emerging and established artists to show their artwork as well as host juried and non-juried shows.
* To provide freedom of expression in the arts through dialogue among the members and an open attitude that promotes experimentation.
* To encourage tourism and economic growth in our community.
* To interact with our schools to encourage the development of creativity in our youth.
