North Star Farms is on the banks of the Des Lacs River in Carpio, North Dakota. Marv and Ilene Baker became certified organic in 2006 and grow certified organic fruits and vegetables. North Star Farms started a CSA in 2009 and has more than doubled each year. We are currently signing up shareholders.

Our produce is Certified Organic. Garlic and flowers are add-ons. Each customer receives "The Featherstone Farm Cookbook" when membership payment is received. Each produce entry covers history, nutrition, selection, storage, cleaning, cooking techniques, complimentary foods, herbs and seasonings, and recipes. We don't grow corn because the raccoons get it before anyone else.
