About the School:
Norwayne Middle School is located in the northern sector of Wayne County, NC. We are the largest middle school in the district with a student enrollment of 969 students and 92 staff members. We stand behind our mission to share the responsibility of learning among students, staff, parents, and community in an environment that will enable students to become productive citizens. Our school day is 8:00a.m. until 2:57p.m. for students.
Our administration is committed to structure, fairness, routine, and proper discipline. They also believe that all children are capable of learning if given the love, motivation and understanding needed. That all students deserve the opportunity to learn. They also believe staff, administration and parents work best as a team to meet the needs of all students, and input from each is essential. Most important, they are compassionate about education.
