Mission:

We believe that all students who have been at Oak Meadows Elementary School for at least one year can meet or exceed the yearly benchmark standards of the Menifee Union School District. We are prepared to do everything in our ability to make this happen. Gifted and high achieving students will be challenged to reach their academic potential regardless of grade level limitations. Special education students will meet or exceed their Individual Education Plan goals. English Language Learners will meet or exceed the State English Language Development Standards in Language Arts.

Everyone involved at Oak Meadows Elementary School believes that the academic potential of each student is tremendous. We refuse to accept difficult challenges that confront some students as excuses for poor learning. We know that one of the greatest predictors of life’s success is educational success. Therefore, we are committed to creating a school that knows no limits to the academic success of each student. We also recognize that it is the responsibility of all members of the Learning Community – staff, teachers, parents, and students – to communicate concerns and offer support if we are not upholding the values of this statement.

We as a Learning Community will accept no limits on the learning potential of any child.
We will treat students, parents, and colleagues with courtesy and respect.
Teachers at Oak Meadows Elementary will meet the individual learning needs of each child.
Teachers will clarify standards-based essential outcomes and create common assessments through regular collaboration.
