Oakbrook Elementary School, home of the Dolphins have a strong relationship between the school and the community. All are committed to providing a quality educational program for each student that is based on instructional leadership, meaningful learning experiences, positive home - school - community relations, and mutual respect. The high expectations held by the administrators, teachers, and parents empower students to meet state and district goals. This team approach bolsters student achievement and instills in each a sense of academic and personal pride.

Oakbrook transitioned to a multi-track year round school during the 1995-1996 school year.

Working as a team, we enjoy the opportunity to support each student in meeting their educational goals. This is truly a community effort and a success, exemplification of our theme of empowering a community of students, teachers and parents to be lifelong learners and achievers. We have recently turned our efforts towards equity in achievement issues within our school, and closing the achievement gap.
