Church History:
Answering the call of God on their lives, Pastors Gary and Pam Denton started a weekly bible study in 1991. Unsure of what lay ahead, but confident in the power of God's love, the Oasis of Love Tabernacle was born. Organized services began in a local community building and soon moved to a small storefront building in Bailey, NC. It is worth noting that after moving into the building a local resident told the Pastors that the building had once been a stable. Indeed, Christ was alive and growing in our own Bethlehem.

As time passed, people began to come and be a part of this new assembly. Naturally some came and went, but a core group of believers have stayed and built a strong support base. We thank God for the blessings He has provided. In 1995, the church was able to purchase seven acres of land. The property was paid off early and plans were made to build.

God had other plans however. In January 1999, Bishop David Huskins (Cedartown, Ga.) prophesied to the church that we would have a new building in the year 2000. As the church moved in the direction of the prophecy, things took a major change in October 1999. That month, the owners of a local restaurant who were interested in selling, approached the pastors. The church purchased the property, and moved to its spacious new building in January 2000. To God be the Glory!
